Lindsay Dolce, Sandy Pulles, and Stacey Scherschligt will transition to new roles to help the nonprofit achieve its bold vision.

Lindsay Dolce, J.D., will become Chief Policy and Growth Officer with a focus on elevating the important work happening in Minnesota to a national stage. Under her leadership, ServeMinnesota’s portfolio of research-based, proven AmeriCorps programs has gained national attention, leading to adoption of the programs in other states. Julia Quanrud, CEO of ServeMinnesota said, “Lindsay is an architect for our growth and sees intersections in our work in Minnesota and nationally. She’ll drive multi-state alignment to grow our programs and support our national partners.” Dolce builds coalitions of support across the country to expand the organization’s groundbreaking programs in new places, bringing proven impact to new communities, large and small.

Sandy Pulles, PhD., will become ServeMinnesota’s Chief Impact Officer. Pulles leads engagement with multiple state agencies, in addition to directing innovative initiatives to address youth mental health, workforce readiness, and more. She was recently appointed to the Governor’s Workforce Development board, highlighting the vision for ensuring AmeriCorps is recognized as an effective workforce strategy.  Quanrud said, “Sandy lifts up the strengths of our programs and envisions the impact of what we can collectively do. She embodies our values of community and partnership and ensures ServeMinnesota takes action to address the state’s most pressing issues.” In addition, Pulles will direct ServeMinnesota’s internal research and development team, which ensures programs continue to deliver and improve on their impressive impact.

Stacey Scherschligt will be promoted to Vice President of Programs and Grantmaking. Scherschligt has created cutting-edge program management systems cited nationally for ensuring federal resources are invested effectively. She currently manages the ServeMinnesota portfolio of 20 Minnesota AmeriCorps programs and serves as the compliance expert for the organization. Quanrud said, “Stacey leads our federal grantmaking process, helping each program increase its effectiveness and impact. The success of her work has propelled ServeMinnesota into the national spotlight as the leader in effective programming. Her perspective is critical for ServeMinnesota to understand the needs facing our state, and how AmeriCorps can be best positioned to make a difference.”

Since November 2023, ServeMinnesota has been collecting community feedback through listening sessions across the state to inform the future of AmeriCorps in Minnesota. Quanrud said, “the staffing reorganization aligns with the organization’s strategic direction and its mission to strengthen Minnesota through high-impact service.”
